She is an Elite Cow in the Canadian Angus Performance program 2024. Her bull calf will be a feature in our 2025 Mar Mac Bull Sale 5th of March. Look at her age just an end of February bred female. The Bayberry cow family was founded in Manitoba at the Johnstons and Horner Cattle Co. 134L’s dam was purchased at the Masterpiece from Laura Horner and her sire was a Reba son from Mar Mac. This heavy milking female always puts lots of pounds on her calves each fall. In 2023, we purchased Red MRLA Admiration 29J. 29J’s grandmother and mother were extremely impressive individuals, and factored heavily on our decision to purchase him. This Respect son left some exciting feminine well-balanced females and a solid meaty set of sons who were some of the features in our 2024 Bull Sale. This extremely solid made, well balanced feminine bred heifer sells bred to our exciting calving ease sire, Simplify. We had a solid set of calves his first calf crop with very moderate birth weights and yet come Bull Sale time they were well sought after as calving ease sires. One thing about Simplify is he calves extremely well but you get progeny with some growth, length and style to them. The majority of our heifers are bred to Simplify because he just works so well.
