The Easter cow family are productive females in the Mar Mac program. 87Z was the high selling Red Angus bred female in the 2013 Keystone Klassic Sale to Dale McKay of Brandon.   Dale keeps his small elite herd of Red Angus at Mar Mac Farms, and here is her daughter. This is one of the oldest Capacity females but we are very excited with the quality bulls and females that Capacity has produced in our herd.  Prowler, Ribeye, Capacity and Wall Street all top individuals in the Angus breed. Check out her numbers.

Here is a female that will be an asset in any program and bred to ournew heifer bull Red Bridgeway Riddler 9D -1910288 -
April 24-July 8, preg tested 70 days pregnant on July 11th.

The 29th Annual Keystone Klassic Sale and Mar Mac Farms is proud to have been involved in the formation of the sale and has exhibited cattle in all of the 29 sales.  Quality cattle that go out and work over the years, Mar Mac is bringing a daughter of our Frado cow family in 2017. Mar Mac  Spartan (the outcross sire) has left some extremely functional daughters with performance, length of body and beautiful tight udders just like his sire Blackberry has done.  33S was bred by Mar Mac and sold in the Keystone Klassic Sale to Buck Valley. When Buck Valley dispersed their cows, we purchased 33S back and every year she has weaned off a top calf each fall with lots of performance. 49D was exposed to our bet the farm calving ease sire, Red Flying K Neptune. Neptune not only calves great but leaves progeny with an end product. Many sons have been high sellers in our bull pen.Don’t miss this young female to start off a new cow family in your herd.

Bred April 24- July 8 to Red Flying K Neptune 28Z

MAR MAC MB MISS TILDA 160E
- 1997827 -

-Video-

In November 2016, I started renting 50 bred heifers from Sandy Bar Angus, Aneroid, SK. I allowed Chris to select two of the top heifer calves out of these rented cows for this sale. 160E is a very thick, powerful heifer. Her mother, 35C is one of the larger of the Sandy Bar cows, but she is made right with lots of depth and thickness. The Sandy Bar Idea sire group has probably been the most consistent sire group all summer. If you want a heifer that will raise big money, thick calved and lots of performace, look no further than Miss Tilda 160E.

In November 2016, I started renting 50 bred heifers from Sandy Bar Angus, Aneroid, SK. I allowed Chris to select two of the top heifer calves out of these rented cows for this sale. 154E is a very stylish, moderate framed heifer, Her mother 44C is one of my favourite of the 50 cows I am renting from Sandy Bar. Both 154E and her mother 44C have a lot of eye appeal, femininity, depth and correct structure. Pride 154E is a heifer that will surely cath the judge's eye at a jackpot show, and she is built to last in your herd for years to come.

As Simmental breeders for the past 41 years, we have selected two females that should go out and produce those top quality Simmental calves for the future. Carli’s Angel is a powerful daughter of the Predestined 63B. 36D is an extremely long bodied female that will throw extra length in her calves.  Her dam 112W has done an amazing job for Melissa at Mar Mac Farms.  She has 2 daughters working in our herd, a daughter at Circle G Simmentals in Alberta, and her sister was the high selling bred heifer at the Keystone Konnection Sale 2016 to Schweitzer Simmentals.  This female could be the cornerstone of your program.
Royal was our pick of the young herd sire prospects this spring as we wanted calving ease along with adding the white face to his progeny. We are excited to see what Royal can do in our Simmental program.

Bred May 5- June 5 – Double Bar D Royal 445D.
– PG 1176813-
